St Marys GAA receive Planning Permission for their new proposed town centre pitch and dressing room facilities at “The Rocks”. This exciting project will regenerate the area and encourage usage “The Rocks” as a true community facility. It will also strengthen and transform ST Marys GAA with a top level pitch on their doorstep. The new club facility is being designed as part of the master plan to provide a new Family resource Centre and a community Child care centre.

April 2010 - Summer works schemes
Confirmation received that the eight summer works applications totaling over €350,000 were successful – the works will range from window replacement to entire roof replacement.
April 2010 – Faythe School
The first four of the refurbished classrooms are handed back to the school. The classrooms now have an external insulation façade system and double glazed windows, with interactive white boards, new heating & electrical, new floor/wall/ceiling finishes and bright new colour schemes. The board of management and students are delighted with the end result.

Architectural technician Aileen Ryan is attending the two day course PHPP in Limerick.

Great news! – Confirmation received that our director Gary Morris passed the CEPHD exams and is now one of only five certified Passive House designers in Ireland.
January 2010 – Screen school
“Ground break” on the refurbishment and extension of the 6 classroom school. The entire school – teachers and students have decamped to temporary accommodation – gratefully provided by the Shelmalier GAA club.

“Ground break” on the refurbishment of the 16 classroom school – the project is split in 8 phases over a 5 month project.
