A development consisting of 53 housing units designed for
this rural area but also to appeal to the holiday home
market. The mix of housing units was important to the scheme
to ensure its sales viability particularly in the holiday
market. The site was on zoned land and the application for
planning was concurrent with a number of other proposed
residential applications.
The Council Planners therefore requested linkages and
continuity of certain design elements between all the
proposed developments. DCS+P were delighted therefore for
the council to establish our proposal as the design
benchmark both in terms of house design and estate layout
for the other developers to follow.
